Information on registration locations is found on the region’s website www.ayso341.org . Families are encouraged to pre-register and print their own registration forms through the national website www.eayso.org . These forms must be brought to one of the Open Registrations listed on the region’s website. Registration is first-come, first-served so register early to avoid a waiting line and late registration fees.
Santee AYSO families who are unable to afford the registration expenses should contact the Regional Commissioner during the open registration times. The region has a financial assistance program for Santee residents which offer discounted fees. Check the region website for more information. www.ayso341.org
Requests for brothers and sisters to be on the same team will be honored whenever possible. Often, however, a parent may decide that it is not a good idea for their children to play together, which will also be honored whenever possible. These requests must be noted on each player's registration form.
In the competitive divisions (U10 / U12 / U14 / U16 / U19) no requests will be honored to be on a specific team or coach. Practices can be any day of the week but are typically Monday through Friday, and are at the convenience of the coach. There is no way to assign players to coaches based on practice day preferences.
If the problem is transportation, just speak to the coach or team parents. There is always someone who will be available and willing to give your child a ride.. Please try to make it to practice. Your child is involved in a team sport. The team cannot learn to work together if there are players who consistently miss practices.
Full refunds are available prior to the first game of the season and the player returns the full set of uniforms in the same condition as received. After the first game, a prorated refund will be given. Please let us know as soon as possible, since there may be a player on a waiting list that can be accommodated. See the Regional Guidelines on the regions website ( www.ayso341.org ) for information on refunds.
